About me

I'm Bora Sen, a passionate Product Design Engineering graduate currently based in Milan, Italy. I completed my studies at Brunel University London, where I received the International Excellence Scholarship, and later earned an Executive Micro MBA from Dokuz Eylül University in 2024, which strengthened my business-oriented and strategic mindset.

With a foundation in engineering and design, I’m dedicated to developing innovative and functional solutions that enhance user experiences and create real value. I gained hands-on experience through internships in automotive, home appliances, and packaging design, working with CMS, DesignUM, Incir Evi, Dogo, and Brandoves. These experiences gave me a versatile understanding of industrial design and cross-sector collaboration.

During my time at CMS, I worked as a Product Design Intern in the Aftermarket department, focusing on sketching, prototyping, and rim design. At DesignUM, I designed an electric Turkish coffee grinder for Arzum, presenting a concept that received direct feedback from the company.

I believe great design blends creativity with functionality, creating products that foster emotional connection and a sense of ownership.

Beyond design, I’ve been involved in business and community organizations, including EGİAD (Aegean Young Businesspeople Association) and ENTA (Industrial Designers Association), and previously took part in Rotaract and Interact clubs. These experiences helped me build strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

 Currently, I’m pursuing the International Master in Digital Innovation & New Business Design at Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management.

This program bridges design, business, and technology, integrating topics like digital transformation, innovation strategy, and emerging technologies such as AI and data analytics. It allows me to combine my design-engineering background with strategic and digital innovation skills, forming a multidisciplinary perspective that connects creativity, technology, and business impact.

I’m passionate about shaping the future of products, services, and organizations through innovation and strategy.

My goal is to grow at the intersection of design, business, and consulting, contributing to digital transformation and business design projects that drive meaningful change.
